Ddisgrifiad / Description | Henry Thomas, 10 White Friars, Chester, to Dr. Francis Hawkins, Medical Registrar for England, 18 Bolton Street, Piccadilly, London, in which Mr. Thomas writes that he has sent by a friend his letters, testimonial and diploma, with a request for registration as a graduate of a college in Philadelphia, but has been informed that the council have postponed the examination of foreign degrees obtained after regular examination until an indefinite period. This he considers very unsatisfactory and not according to the Act of parliament 21 and 22 Vic. Chap. 90 which provides that registration should have commenced before October 1 1858. Mr. Thomas concludes by requesting more definite and decisive information. |
