Ddisgrifiad / Description | The church stands on an ancient site, possibly sixth century. It is said to have been built in 1350. It stands in a churchyard with a switchback dry stone wall 927 feet above sea level and is best approached through the hamlet of Henryd. It comprises a south porch, nave and chancel and a sixteenth century north chapel. This chapel is known as 'Capel Y Meibion' (Men's Chapel) and retains its original earth floor. The sixteenth century porch has a squint to the churchyard gate. The church door and doorframes are fifteenth century with older hinges. The nave is mediaeval and there is a timber barrel vault to the chancel. The church is floored with old flags. The font is probably thirteenth century; the communion table and rails, seventeenth century. The 1700 pulpit is in the north chapel. The earliest bench pew is 1629. In a corner of the churchyard is the Saint's well, once roofed but now open to the elements.
