Ddisgrifiad / Description | This chamber was located on land belonging to Robert Williams Esquire of Hendre Waelod, stated on the Llansantffraid Tithe map. There was a cromlech and a small stone circle, however, little remains of the mound which covered it. It is associated with the Battle of 'Dial Rhodri' at Cymryd Point in the 9th century and it is said that Edric, Duke of Mercia and the leader of the defeated army were sacrificed on the top slab of this cromlech by Ariarawd ap Rhodri.
