Ddisgrifiad / Description | This Mill has its origins in the seventeenth century. At the time of the photograph it was used as a depot for Buckley's Cranes. It is also the birthplace of John Williams (1801-1859), a naturalist and a botanist who travelled widely. His best known work was 'Fauna Crustensis' published in 1830.
The mill itself was last worked in the early part of 1900. The High Mill is fed by a more complicated system of channels and dams than Felin Isaf.
