Meirion House is another reminder of Glan Conwy's links with the sea and ships. This house was built in the last years of the nineteenth century on farmland on the old Llanrwst Road as a Memorial to the loss at sea of Captain Robert Jones and his ship the 'Margaret Elizabeth'. His wife commissioned the building of the house.
