Ddisgrifiad / Description | This is one of Conwy's oldest inns and it stands in the High Street, although very much altered from its original state. This was the Inn at which the coachmen would stay when their masters was passing through or visiting Conwy. It is widely believed that in those times Chapel Street was the most important street in Conwy, the Bangor Road not being in existence then. The coaches are believed to have come into the town through the Upper Gate, down Chapel Street, then through Crown Lane and into the large courtyard at the rear of the Inn.
