Ddisgrifiad / Description | Conwy was once an English garrison town and many of the street names are still in English. Even though this is Lancaster Square, there stands a monument to the Welsh Prince, Llewelyn the Great who ruled over the whole of Wales. It is said that he was buried at the Aberconwy Cistercian Abbey in Conwy and later his remains were moved to Maenan Abbey, near Llanrwst.
