Ddisgrifiad / DescriptionThe School was originally opened as St. George's National School in 1846, just in time for an inspection which reported that the only Master, at £21 a year, was a 25 year old former farmer whose knowledge of English was deficient. Children provided their own copy books and paid fees of a penny per week.
