Teitl / TitleLloyd Street, Llandudno
Ddisgrifiad / DescriptionLike all the early namees of the streets in Llandudno, Lloyd Street is derived from the Mostyn family. Sir Edward Lloyd, of Pengwern, Flintshire inherited most of the estates from his bachelor brother-in-law, Sir Thomas Mostyn in 1831. He adopted the family name and was created the First Baron Mostyn in the same year. Lloyd Street was intended to run from shore to shore when it first opened up in 1866, although its Northern end is known as St. George's Place, taking its name from the hotel.
