Ddisgrifiad / Description | This Hotel was named after the old railway company and was originally two separate units, the Tudno Castle to the North and the Temperance Hotel nearest the Station. By 1891 the popularity of Llandudno was such that the land behind the North Western Hotel was surveyed as the terminal site for the new link line which the Midland Railway Company proposed to tunnel through the Little Orme in opposition to the marginally longer route of the London and North Western Railway Company. The 50,000 square feet Asda, with parking space for 643 cars, was opened on the site in April 1975.
