Ddisgrifiad / Description | This pulpit was placed outside in 1914 because of the popular Sunday Morning Services held in the open air for tourists. The Church is situated on the Great Orme. This was formerly the Parish Church of Llandudno and is of great historical interest. It is is said to stand on the site of the Cell of St. Tudno who lived in the 6th century. Part of the North Wall and the Font are thought to date back to the 11-12th century but the remainder belongs to the 15th century. In 1839 the roof was stripped off in a storm and the building was so damaged that no attempt was made to repair it. It lay neglected until 1855 when it was completely restored. Further work was carried out in 1906-1907 and again in 1957-1958.
