| Ddisgrifiad / Description | The Hotel was opened in 1854 as the first modern building on the Promenade. It was built by Isaiah Davies, an astute young man of twenty four, who was born on a farm on the Little Orme. He inherited the King's Head after marrying Ann Owen, daughter of the licencee and five years his senior, when he was only nineteen.
