Ddisgrifiad / Description | The Villa Marina was designed by the famous cinema architect Harry Weedon. It was built for the millionaire confectioner, H. Scribbins, who died before he could occupy it. During the Second World War it was occupied by the military, first, as an officers' mess, then as a convalescent home. In April 1947 it was sold to Mrs. B. H. Partington of Prestatyn for £13,000.
