Ddisgrifiad / DescriptionThis is an ancient five arch structure around which the original village grew up. It carries the B5106 at a right angle away from the A5. Its name means 'Bridge of the Cauldron' but it was known as 'Pont y Pair' at least from 1699. It was built by Hywel the Mason of Penllyn, Bala who died c.1475.
