| Ddisgrifiad / Description | In 1860 work began on the construction of a railway from Conwy Embankment to Llansanffraid Glan Conwy and Tal y Cafn Ferry. The line opened in 1863 and in 1868 the Conwy Valley new terminus opened at Betws-y-Coed. The station was built by Owen Gethin Jones (1816-1883), a famous poet, author and historian.
