| Ddisgrifiad / Description | Robert Williams (1830-1877) was born at Ty'n Ardd in Llanrhychwyn. When he was thirteen, he moved to Llanrwst where his father was a tailor. In 1854 he married and set up a tailoring business. He was a lifelong admirer of 'Caledfryn', who caused a schism in the world of the Eisteddfod. He had various volumes of work published including Fy Noswyl, Y Geninen Associate and Gwilym Colwyd Dewi Arfon and Scorpian.
