| Ddisgrifiad / Description | The Dam wall burst on the night of 2 November 1925 (Monday). Sixteen people died, the School and Church were washed away and the whole area was buried under tons of mud and rubble. There was a wall of water 30 feet high and70 yards wide. The hamlet of Porthlwyd was completely destroyed and buried under tons of rubble.
