| Ddisgrifiad / Description | The works opened in 1908 and electric smelters were used. In 1916 a small rolling mill was installed and sheet production commenced. In 1925 the dam burst and the factory was buried under two metres of debris. In 1944 the smelting of aluminium stopped. In 1949 a two strip mill was installed. In 1979 five hundred people were employed at the site.
