| Ddisgrifiad / Description | The Ship public house was built in 1908. It was a landmark on the coast road when it was demolished to make way for the A55 Expressway. It was closed in October 1983 and was bought by the Welsh Office at the beginning of 1985 under a Compulsory Purchase Order. Quarrymen, fishermen, holiday makers and travellers made a thriving business in its heyday, when beer used to arrive by horse and cart and was sold in particular to soldiers during World War One.
