Ddisgrifiad / DescriptionSeries of 4 letters written by and on behalf of Mr C.W. Crowe of 36 Vincent Parade, Balsall Heath, Birmingham asking that he be excused jury duty in Caernarvon on the grounds that he was then working at the Birmingham Small Arms factory in Birmingham making munitions for the war effort. One of the letters is a copy of one issued on behalf of the Ministry of Munitions mentioning the inconvenience being caused by workers being summoned for jury duty and advising employers as to how to get their employees exempted. [According to the jury panel list Mr Crowe's usual residence is at 3 Bretton Pl., Lloyd St., Eglwysrhos.]
