| Ddisgrifiad / Description | Large crowd gathered to see Mayor Joseph Jones cut ribbon accompanied by Mayoress Mrs. A. T. S. Smith and Deputy Mayor R.D. Parry on 16th July. The new works designed by Conwy Borough Engineer Mr. E.O. Foulkes included a 300 yard sea defence wall, a concrete carriageway, 20 bathing chalets, new quarters for the Conwy Yacht Club and a kiosk.
