Ddisgrifiad / Description | Trefriw Woollen Mill had been operating for 30 years when it was bought by Thomas Williams in 1859 and is still owned by the same family. Since the 1930s its speciality has been double weave quilts, and until 1950 was one of the few mills in Wales producing this type of quilt. It still has some tradtional welsh weaving Dobcross looms. The images show the the interior of the mill and the machinery involved in the various processes. |
