| Ddisgrifiad / Description | The North Wales Weekly News newscutting dated 24th October 1974 has description underneath 'Presentation of a cheque for £240 for the British Red Cross Challengers Club was made by Mrs. Elsie Davies, president of the Colwyn Bay Business and Professional Women's Club at their bi-monthly meeting at Rhos Abbey Hotel on Thursday. The cheque was received by Mrs. A.M. Lean, treasurer of the Challengers Club. The money raised recently at a fashion show at Woods of Colwyn Bay will go towards the cost of an ambulance.
