Arthur Pritchard, Mayor to the Local Government Board asking for a loan of £2,500 to be repaid in 30 yrs for the conversion of the Public Market Hall, Market Hall House, Public Offices and Armoury, Castle St., to a Public Building and Municipal Offices [dated March1894]. 3. From Alfred D. Adrian, Assistant Secretary of the Local Government Board, Whitehall to T.E. Parry, Town Clerk re the sanction to borrow a further £1,500 for the purpose of erecting a Public Hall. [Mr. Adrian] states there will be a local inquiry on the subject first before a decision is made. |
