It is regarding the land situated on the shore ground which the corporation agreed to sell Mr. Bird over which part of the railway is constructed for the sum of £40 per acre and when this agreement was being entered into there were rumours that the Crown intended claiming the foreshore or land between high and low water mark which caused a second agreement; after which the Attorney General filed a bill to restrain the Harbour Comapny from using the land. |
