Loose in the book were lists of boats at the dock for 1952 and 1956-1958 with dues and note of whether paid; notes; receipts; correspondence; British Rail forms. Also enclosed was a letter of 22 April 1966 from British Rail's District Estate Surveyor to the Station Master at Deganwy, saying that he is taking over management of the Dock from 1 May and that Mr Morris, the Harbour Master, will come onto his staff. An extract from a memorandum of 12 April 1966 from the Chester Divisional manager George Dow states, 'I propose to try and sell Deganwy Dock as quickly as possible...' |
